Fun with Beeswax

Lotion, beeswax crayons and beeswax clay. The crayons didn't turn out as nice and smooth as they could have. I figured out a better method though. melt the beeswax in separate babyfood jars in a pot of hot water, add coloring, and add soap last.

Our first egg

We got baby chicks this year and have been waiting to find our first little egg. Yesterday we found it and it is so cute. So little compared to the eggs our old girls lay. We should start getting about 6 eggs a day soon.

It has been such a long and wet spring. I love that it is cool and green. Lots of flowers almost out our front door, and interesting mushrooms in the garden too.
