Stuck in the House

We made sewing cards with a hole punch.

We also made wintergreen scented playdough.

Ethan's been living mainly on watermelon, oatmeal and popcicles for the last week. His fever is gone, but his cough still keeps him up at night. He's been very cooperative and let me take his temperature multiple times during the night. He took my temperature and concluded it was 30 lbs. He picked out a DVD on learning to fiddle from the library and watched it intently. I was amused to see him break out and start dancing around in his chair when the Thomas the Train theme song came on, in spite of it all. He couldn't resist. He also couldn't resist performed his cookie monster impersonation. But, we had to find some things to keep us occupied other than the TV! He's much better now, and I think he's well enough for us to go on our yurt trip. So, we'll post on that later.

Baking Naan

This time it was cinnamon. I have hopes of making a great garlic naan comparable to that Tandoori Oven's.

Ethan's Valentine

This lego candy from Cafe Ibis was fun.

Happy Winter

Hope we get some more snow for our yurt trip this weekend.

A Thoughtful Gift

My sister Lindsey made a creative little book for Ethan titled Ethan's Hiking Adventure. A hiker, attached to the top of the book moves from page to page. Ethan adores the book and already has the story memorized. That it came in the mail from Aunt Lindsey makes it even more special. Thanks Lindsey!

Ethan's Lint Obsession

One of the highlights of bedtime is checking for lint between the toes. Ethan almost never forgets to check.
