Like Our Haircuts?

Ethan got another haircut, and I finally got the boy cut I've been wanting to get for years (but haven't dared).

Do all kids like balls as much as Ethan?

Sometimes "ball" is the first word Ethan says in the morning. His other favorite thing is his bellybutton. He loves to show it off and lift his shirt and say "tickle tickle."

Sequoia

I had to post a picture of Quoia girl because she's so special. Winter is her time of year. She loves to frolick, plow her face, and roll in the snow. She's a great skiing companion and she can still beat any dog that tries to race her. She still does 360's when she gets excited...usually after a big dump. It's one of the cutest things I've ever seen. She's been laying down some rules since Ethan came. She's very loving and patient with him and he loves nothing more than Quoia kisses. But, in return, she gets to nap on the bed whenever she wants and she gets extra loves in the morning.

Beaver Mountain Kisses

Today we took Ethan to the Beav and took turns skiing (or if you're Justin, snowboarding) and pushing Ethan around in his chariot. Ethan had fun giving me lots of kisses through the screen of his chariot cover and I ate it up! He was also stealing hearts in the lodge walking around showing his ball to everyone and smiling big. He loved it when another child would throw the ball with him. It's been a good winter! On another note, he has a new favorite treat. Unsweetened carob chips. I haven't given him too many sweets yet, but he's had ice cream and I always share the whipped cream off of the top of my mochas with him.

Check out my Slide Show!

We just returned from a trip to the Olympic Penninsula with Justins family. Ethan had a great time mimicking the birds ("boo boos") and seals on the bay and playing with his grandma and Kentree and Jessie. He started saying "tickle tickle" with a wrinkled nose, which was the cutest thing ever. He did really well on the plane (no crying!) and drive to the bay, despite the discomfort of his incisors coming in and a bad bout of diarrhea. He did sign "all done" a few times in the car and I laughed "me too!" We didn't ski to the hot springs as the road was closed so that would have meant more miles in the cold with Ethan. But, it was a great time with beautiful scenery and great company. Some fuctions on our camera are not working so most of our pics didn't really turn out. And not all of the pictures are from the trip.
