First ski of '08

Today we decided to head up the canyon for a ski. There's not much snow yet, but enough (about 6") to ski the Sink Hollow trail. It was beautiful (I was thinking of you Christina, wish you were here this winter). We went for about an hour and then had to turn around because Ethan was getting tired of it. Last year Ethan was still eating every couple of hours so we just had to work around that and he would usually sleep the whole time. This year he is old enough to have an opinion about how long he wants to sit in the chariot. Luckily, with snacks and a toy he's usually pretty happy to get out and go for a ride.

Climate change really blows. We want to ski so bad, but there's not enough snow anywhere. Unless you like to hit rocks. Only 23 inches at tony grove. grrrrrr.

Jrob, I heard you dumped your boy a couple times in the chariot on a ski. How did that go over?! I know for sure I'll do the same and need to know the best of consolation words to make it all right (for mom and son!)!
