Apples


Cinnamon and mace are usually my spices of choice for apple cobbler, but today I tried rosemary and it was delicious. I mixed a couple of tablespoons of lemon juice in ~1.5 lb. apples, ~ 1/3 C. sugar, and a couple of pinches of ground rosemary. Much less spice than I would normally add but I didn't want the flavor to be too strong. The flavor was subtle and perfect.
