Finally, we are remodeling our living room. We tore down the wall paper and found quite a mess. Plaster falling off of the walls due to water damage. I didn't want a textured look, but rather smoother looking walls. So it took a lot of repair mudding and sanding. We actually hired a friend to finish it. I love how the walls turned out. They are a warm creamy color that goes well with the wood. We also got rid of that mirror. We are now finishing the fireplace. It was painted brick but soon it will be tiled. Pictures to come...

I think you must have the most peaceful and simple life ever...you have always loved the beautiful things of the earth and have found it's beauty in everything. You haven't changed...I'm so glad. What a great family you are building.
Your strawberries look amazing! What kind are they? We are trying to find a good kind to grow in our yard. It looks like the remodel is going to look fantastic!
