Ethan loves his new school. He has a small Kindergarten class of 11 kids. The school has an organic garden that they all work on, and eat from. Snacks consist of food from the garden and they have school activities such as learning to make dilly beans from the garden. School lunches are made on site, fresh, from local food. Their school is part of a farm-to-table program. I love that. I'm pleased to have him at the school, and pleased that VT invests so much in it's schools. Here's what I'm not so wild about. Ethan came home and asked me what it means to have a crush. Two girls told him they have crushes on him. Can we go back to preschool please?

That is awesome. You've got a healthy heart throb on your hands ;-)
I hope the farm to table program catches on in more schools across the country.
