I've been a bit busy lately but couldn't miss posting my beautiful boy's 4th birthday. Unfortunately, he was sick over his birthday. I was disappointed because I had envisioned a little woodland cake for months and was excited about how it turned out. It was also the best tasting yellow cake I had ever had (recipe can be found here: http://smittenkitchen.com/2009/07/best-birthday-cake/) and Ethan didn't even taste it. But, he still enjoyed sharing it with family. We celebrated at Jeremy Ranch (Justin's family has a timeshare)so when Ethan felt better we took a lovely bike ride on the Swaner Nature Preserve loop. The fall colors were beautiful.
